New twist in chase for Swans target McBurnie

HULL City have not given up hope of landing Oli McBurnie this summer, with boss Sergej Jakirovic still hopeful of getting a deal over the line following conversations with the EFL.
The Tigers had looked favourites to land the 29-year-old this summer, before being slapped with a three-window transfer restriction.
Under the terms of that move, the EFL now have to give the club the green light before any new deals can be completed, a wage cap believed to be among the measures imposed by authorities.
The situation appeared to have scuppered any hopes of signing McBurnie, but it appears a move to Humberside is still a possibility.
Our colleagues at Hull Live claim the Tigers have already agreed a deal in principle with the striker, and there's now a feeling a deal can still be done.
