Man exposed himself and abused police in busy shop

Marc Innes then unleashed a torrent of racial and homophobic abuse at the police officer who arrested him for his drunken takeaway display.

During the bizarre episode at the Subway in Haverfordwest the 34-year-old former tree surgeon also stole crisps and "used filthy language", his sentencing hearing at Swansea Crown Court heard on Tuesday.

During the hearing the judge told the defendant that the only person who was interested in his penis was him, and he said that by his behaviour the 34-year-old had demeaned himself.

Georgia Donohue, prosecuting, told the court that on the evening of September 19 the defendant walked into a Subway shop in Haverfordwest and ordered a sandwich.

She said Innes was noted to have glazed eyes and slurred speech and to be unsteady on his feet, and staff came to the conclusion he was under the influence of drink or drugs.
