JOANNA Page is leading a new BBC series titled Shift the Thrift.

The programme celebrates Britain's bustling charity shop scene and taps into the growing trend of secondhand shopping and online reselling.
In each episode of the new BBC series, the Gavin & Stacey star will guide two contestants as they hunt for hidden gems in charity shops, give them a creative makeover, and sell them in live-streamed sales. They have now announced that applications are open for participants for the series.
Each episode of Shift the Thrift begins in a different UK town, where Joanna and two guest experts explore the local charity retail scene and provide the teams with a tailored shopping list, which consistently includes an item needing transformation and a location-based treasure hunt challenge.
