Headteacher was exposed when colleague walked in, hearing told

A HEADTEACHER at a Swansea primary school invited a member of staff into his office - and when she walked in, she found him standing next to his desk with his trousers pulled down and his erect penis in full view, a hearing has heard.
James “Jamie” Richards faces several accusations relating to his time as headteacher of Cadle Primary School in the Ravenhill area of Swansea. During an Education Workforce Council (EWC) hearing held remotely yesterday, a professional standards panel heard evidence from a former female colleague of Mr Richards.
Referred to as Colleague B, the woman told the EWC panel how the alleged incident more than 10 years ago had left her feeling “worthless” and “awful” and how she struggled to get people to believe her.
Colleague B told the hearing that Mr Richards had been “flirty” on the day of the alleged incident, and later asked her on the phone to come to his office to collect a form.
The woman said she knocked on the door and entered. “I knew he was expecting me to walk in and pick up the form,” she told the hearing. The woman’s evidence then detailed how she saw Mr Richards standing with his trousers down, “with his erect penis out”.
