FIRST WIN OF SEASON FOR SCARLETS
South Wales Evening Post
|December 01, 2025
THE Scarlets upset the form book to thrash Glasgow 23-0 in a one-sided affair in Llanelli.
Gareth Davies of Scarlets is challenged by Alex Craig of Glasgow
Dwayne Peel's side didn’t have a single point to their name before welcoming the former champions to west Wales but put in a dominant performance to floor Glasgow. The Scarlets' backline was full of absentees due to Wales' clash with South Africa today but the Scarlets forwards took Franco Smith’s side to the cleaners.
Peel’s side are Wales’ only representatives in the Investec Champions Cup and if their forwards can front up like this when they host Bristol Bears next Saturday evening then stand a chance.
