Rebecca Ben Hassine, from Swansea, said she found out via Facebook that a large tree had fallen on graves at Rhydgoch Cemetery in Pontarddulais two weeks ago.

When she visited the cemetery later that day, she found the tree had fallen right on top of her gran’s grave. She said she has since contacted the council but the tree remains on the graves.

Pictures from the scene this week show the large tree lying over the headstones at the cemetery. Parts of the tree have been taken away but the trunk remains and Rebecca said loved ones can't access headstones and haven't received any updates.

She told us: “This tree fell down two weeks ago and we're still waiting for it to be removed. They have cut the branches and left all the remains on the graves.
