Drugs gang boss found with a kilo bar of silver

AN ORGANISED crime group sourced large quantities of cannabis and distributed it across West Wales, a court has heard.
The gang laundered tens of thousands of pounds of profit through cryptocurrencies as well as banking huge sums of cash.
Police also recovered a kilo bar of silver during their investigation.
The three people at the top of the gang have now been jailed.
Craig Jones, prosecuting, told Swansea Crown Court that at the head of the operation was 38-year-old year old Daniel Drabble, who sourced cannabis from the US and Britain and “directed, organised, and participated in” the distribution of the drug.
The court heard that part of the operation involved importing cannabis to various addresses from America, and in summer 2022, a package destined for an address in Ceredigion was intercepted by customs officers. The parcel was declared to contain a martial arts helmet but in reality contained 32 packages of cannabis.
