EX-WALES STAR'S CONCERN AT WEAKENED TEAM FACING WORLD CHAMPS

- JOHN JONES Reporter

WELSH rugby could be damaged by taking on world champions South Africa at the end of the month, fears a former Test star.

A dozen players are set to be unavailable to new head coach Steve Tandy as the match at the Principality Stadium on November 29 falls outside of World Rugby’s international window.

It means players who ply their trade outside of Wales will not be released by their clubs for the final fixture of the autumn campaign.
