THE DACIA JOGGER REMAINS ONE OF THE CHEAPEST SEVEN-SEATERS IN THE UK, AND EVEN WITH THE RISING TIDE OF CHINESE MOTORS, IT’S A WINNER ON FUNCTION

Part of the family

IMPRESSIVE: You can remove the rear seats entirely

DACIA has a reputation for building no-nonsense cars that get you where you - and all your family - need to go.

This has been driven by value, and this brand's consistently low-priced cars get people talking. Lately, the rise of low-cost Chinese motors has seen Dacia’s area of the market become more crowded, but the Jogger has made a big impression - and is one of the cheapest seven-seaters available today.

The Jogger recipe has remained pretty much the same since it launched in 2021. Things have got sharper, though, with an edgier exterior design courtesy of upgraded headlights and taillights.

It really is price that drives the Jogger, kicking off at just £18,995 for a standard petrol car, while hybrid models like our test car start from just over £23,300.

We're testing a regular hybrid, meaning it can’t be plugged into a charger but instead draws energy from a 1.8-litre engine. Combined, you get 152bhp and 172Nm of torque, which equates to a 0-60mph acceleration time of 8.7 seconds and a 111mph maximum speed.
