Bluebirds in the hunt for Rangers hot prospect Rice

CARDIFF City are monitoring highly-rated Rangers midfielder Bailey Rice ahead of a potential pre-contract move, according to reports.
-
The 19-year-old Scotland U21 international is expected to leave Tbrox at the end of the season, with Rangers so far unable to agree terms on a new deal.
As things stand, he will be a free agent in the summer and clubs outside Scotland can formally approach him from January.
Cardiff are among several sides who have checked on Rice in recent weeks, according to the Daily Mail, with West Brom also believed to be keen. It is reported that both clubs are willing to put forward a pre-contract proposal once he is permitted to speak to interested teams.
