All change as TfW aims to 'strengthen connections'
South Wales Echo
|November 22, 2025
RAIL timetable changes are being introduced next month to offer more services across the Wales and Borders network.
Transport for Wales says that the move will “strengthen community connections, boost the nighttime economy and provide more travel opportunities”.
It adds that the new timetable, being implemented from December 14, will provide greater connectivity throughout Wales. These are further changes as part of the Network North Wales and South Wales Metro developments.
Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales, Ken Skates, said: “Rail connectivity is absolutely vital in driving prosperity.
“These changes will make a real difference to customers, who will benefit from more services and greater connectivity across Wales and Borders network.
“This has been made possible by our £800m investment in brand-new trains for the Wales and Borders network.”
