QUARTET RELEASED AS CITY ANNOUNCE RETAINED LIST
LINCOLN City have confirmed their retained list for next season, with four players to be released at the end of their contracts this summer.
The Imps have decided to move on Jay Benn, Sam Clucas, Alistair Smith, and Tyler Walker.
Benn and Smith finished this season on loan at League Two clubs Bradford City and AFC Wimbledon, respectively, with the latter still involved at his loan club as they prepare for a play-off final.
The experienced Clucas rejoined his hometown club in January, but did not make enough of an impact in his nine appearances to earn a new deal. Walker has been plagued with injuries since his permanent move to the Imps, making just eight appearances in two years.
