Item aims to book in for the Futurity at Bath races

September 29, 2025

Item could book his ticket for the Futurity Trophy with victory in the British EBF Future Stayers’ Novice Stakes at Bath.

A son of Frankel out of a Grade One-winning mare, Item has the pedigree to make an impact and did so on his racecourse bow, running out a three-and-a-half-length winner with the minimum of fuss.

He has clearly shown Andrew Balding a bit at home to merit a Group One entry and he can prove his stamina over a mile here.
