South Shields-based CPH Retrofit specialises in energy efficiency projects and residential heating system upgrades across the UK.

Founded as a family-run business, Classic Plumbing and Heating Ltd, it now trades as CPH Retrofit, has grown rapidly, with turnover rising by around 120% a year since 2020.

It now employs 12 people-all from South Tyneside-with family members forming the backbone of the company at its base at One Trinity Green.

Managing director Mark Crozier said: "For us, CPH Retrofit is more than a company. We're a team, fully committed to driving positive change in the retrofit and energy efficiency sector.

"Our people are our greatest strength. We take time to understand clients and every household we work with, so we meet the highest standards while making a genuine difference to their comfort and wellbeing."
