NEXT week, it will be the start of this year’s Foster Care Fortnight, from 12 to 25 May 2025 - an annual campaign set up by The Fostering Network to raise the profile of fostering and show how foster care transforms lives.

This year, you can join the North Lincolnshire Council fostering team with your friends and family on Friday, May 16, by participating in the Twilight Walk.

Beginning at Church Square, Scunthorpe, arrival is from 5.45pm with the walk starting at 6pm prompt.

The Twilight Walk will go to Cen-tral Park and back, ending back at Church Square, which will be lit up orange in celebration of Foster Care Fortnight.

Everyone is welcome to take part, join the fostering team, bring along friends and family and dress head to toe in orange or fancy dress.
