British Steel hosting recruitment open day

BRITISH Steel is hosting a recruitment open day this weekend after announcing it is creating 165 jobs in Scunthorpe.
-
The company is preparing to ramp up production after securing the raw materials needed to maintain the two remaining blast furnaces at the Scunthorpe plant.
It is also creating another 17 roles at its sites in Teesside and Skinningrove.
The open day is taking place at Scunthorpe Conference Centre, in Brigg Road, between 10am and 4pm on Saturday (May 17).
