Dumped vape battery fire risk grows after banning

MORE than 7,000 vapes a day were found in general rubbish at four waste disposal sites after the ban on disposable e-cigarettes.
At least 840,000 were dumped at Biffa locations in Teesside, Walsall, Ipswich and north London between June and September, reveals data from the waste firm.
