Work plans for youth 'short of industry needs'
Scottish Daily Express
|September 23, 2025
A PLAN to train the next generation of engineers and computer scientists has been criticised by employers who warned it will "fall significantly short" of industry needs.

But Make UK, which represents 20,000 manufacturing and engineering firms, said the new body should be led by employers rather than be under the control of the Education Secretary.
