DUNDEE UNITED
-
DUNDEE UNITED fullback Will Ferry says he will lap up any abuse he receives from the Easter Road home fans today.
Jim Goodwin’s Arabs resume their Premiership campaign following the international break with a keenly-anticipated clash with Hibernian in front of a big crowd.
The stand-in skipper enjoyed the 2-0 derby win over Dundee in United’s last outing and anticipates more fervour in Leith in the teatime kickoff.
He said: “I love it to be honest, I don’t think it affects me negatively at all. Good atmospheres everywhere we go, whether it is negative towards us or positive when it’s our own fans, I just love it.
“Honestly, it’s the best thing being a footballer, just that noise when you walk out, the noise when you might get a bit of abuse going down buying a free-kick or even when you're up against it, it just gives me goosebumps thinking about it. It’s the best thing, honestly.
