Widow accuses Sturgeon of shifting blame

A CAMPAIGNING widow whose husband’s death is being examined by a public inquiry has said Nicola Sturgeon attempted to “implicate” him in her deadly Covid errors.

Louise Slorance hit out on social media following the publication of the UK Covid-19 Inquiry’s damning report into “core decision-making and political governance”.

Her husband, Andrew, was head of the SNP government's response and communication unit, overseeing the civil service response to the pandemic. A superb organiser, he was appointed Scottish Government Resilience Room (SGORR) Covid-19 lead officer at the outset of the crisis.
