CELEBRATING the 25th anniversary of its visitor centre, Dewar's Aberfeldy distillery has announced a special release. It is a special commemorative expression: Aberfeldy 22 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

Just 552 bottles of the single malt have been released as part of the latest addition to the Exceptional Cask Series.

This is a collection of rare Aberfeldy Single-Cask bottling's, Double-Cask expressions and small-batch releases which are available in extremely limited quantities.

Undertones

The Aberfeldy 22 Year Old expression was first matured in traditional oak casks before being finished in rich Oloroso sherry casks sourced from Jerez, Spain.

The final stage is said to add layers of complexity to complement Aberfeldy's trademark smoothness and honeyed character.

Aberfeldy 20 Year Old offers hints of vanilla and heather honey with undertones of toasted oak and warm clove.
