Bellamy says Wembley defeat has only fired Wales' bid for glory
-

CRAIG BELLAMY insists Thursday's defeat to England has merely made him more excited about the future of Welsh football.
The Wales boss admitted “I got my arse kicked” after the heavy loss to the Three Lions but insisted the experience would benefit his side in the long run.
That message was reiterated on the eve of their massive World Cup qualifier with Belgium at the Cardiff City Stadium tonight.
Bellamy says picking the bones of that night at Wembley has merely made him more determined to move Wales forward - and bring them closer to the top table of international football.
He said: “Looking back through it I really enjoyed it. I don't like the defeat, of course.
“But there's a lot to grab and it's given me the feeling this team can go a lot further and that leaves you excited.
“For us, it’s our intensity. When one goes, we have to move up and it has to be a change of speed. We cannot be a ploddy team.
“We'll get picked off against good teams. So we have to be aggressive, to have a change of speed and when we commit, we commit and we shift.
“The game's always, I believe, how good you are without the ball.
“It allows you to have the ball more. If you ain't, then don't expect the ball.”
The Wales boss also mentioned how he hoped some of the egos in the dressing room would be bruised by the humbling at Wembley, perhaps in a bid to stoke a reaction out of his side, who will move above Belgium in Group J with a win over their old foes at a sold out Cardiff City Stadium.
