SCOTS HAVE BELIEF FOR CANADA TEST
RACHEL McLACHLAN says there is no way Scotland are content at just qualifying for the Women’s World Cup quarterfinals.
The Scots made sure of their place in the last eight by beating Fiji three days ago. But if they want to top Pool B and avoid hosts England in the quarters, they will have to defeat Canada in Exeter on Saturday.
Not many people outside of the squad are giving Bryan Easson’s side a chance against the world’s No.2 team. But openside flanker McLachlan is sure they will be up for the challenge.
The 26-year-old said: “Yeah, we’re really happy about the quarters being secured, but it’s an opportunity we don’t want to pass on.
