ST MIRREN manager Stephen Robinson admits he has stopped celebrating when his team score after receiving confirmation they had another goal wrongly disallowed.
Jonah Ayunga saw an opener ruled out in last Saturday's win over Livingston after Dan Niundulu was penalised for catching Daniel Finlayson with his arm in the buildup.
It would have been an extremely harsh decision in real time, but it was all the more frustrating for Saints that the call was made by referee Chris Graham after he was called to the monitor by Andrew Dallas, an SFA VAR specialist.
Saints chief operating officer Keith Lasley has now received confirmation from the SFA referees department that the goal should have stood.
Robinson, whose side host Kilmarnock today, said: “We've had an acknowledgement that that was wrong, again. | think everybody in the stadium knew it was wrong.
“But we managed to win the game anyway. That's what we have to concentrate on."
