US tells Russia to end war or face 'severe' 100% tariffs

DONALD Trump has threatened Vladimir Putin with 100% “secondary tariffs” if Russia does not end the bloody war in Ukraine within 50 days.

Speaking at a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, yesterday, the US president said if his deadline was not met, he would impose the “severe tariffs”.

Mr Trump also ramped up the pressure on the Kremlin as he said American-made Patriot missiles, pictured, would be heading to Ukraine via European NATO members, who he said will purchase “billions and billions” of dollars of US weaponry under a deal to support the regime in Kyiv.
