Boss fears Clarets if standards slip

- BY JASON MELLOR

MIKEL ARTETA has warned Arsenal will be left singing the claret and blues if they underestimate Burnley.

Arteta’s Premier League leaders are hot favourites to post a ninth straight win but the Spaniard insists the Gunners could be in for some Turf Moor misery if they let their standards slip by even one percent.

There's growing hope among fans that Arsenal can end their 22-year title drought and finally go one better after finishing runners-up for the last three seasons.

Arteta's side fired home five goals without reply as they romped to victory on their most recent visit to Turf Moor at the start of last year.
