Trump to rescue for Tartan Army tickets

THE Tartan Army may have Donald Trump to thank for an unexpected ticket bonus at next year’s World Cup finals.
Fans of Haiti are banned from entering the US under tough anti-terror laws signed by the president last June. And the impoverished Caribbean country has been drawn against Scotland in Group C.
The sides are due to play each other in Boston on June 14.
But despite Haiti having a sizea-ble expat population in America, the presidential ban could result in limited ticket demand for the 65,000-capacity Gillette Stadium.
Even so, as the Tartan Army begin manoeuvres for crossing the Atlantic, there are fears exorbitant hotel and travel costs will price out many Scots.
