‘This is the time for Putin to get serious about peace’

FOREIGN Secretary David Lammy has challenged Russia's Vladimir Putin to attend face-to-face peace talks with Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday.
Mr Zelensky said he is ready to hold discussions on ending the war when he visits Turkey, where representatives from all 32 NATO member states are meeting.
US President Donald Trump has called on leaders of the two warring nations to sit down together and the plea was echoed by Mr Lammy.
