BBC's John Hunt on murdered wife and daughters

- By Chris Riches

BBC racing commentator John Hunt wept as he revealed he speaks to his wife and two daughters every day after they were murdered by crossbow killer Kyle Clifford.

He broke his silence for the first time since the deaths of wife Carol, 61, and daughters Louise, 25, and Hannah, 28.

John and surviving sibling Amy wanted to "breathe life" back into them as "fully-rounded people", not just victims.

Evil Clifford, 26, fatally stabbed Carol, raped his former partner Louise, then used a crossbow to shoot both her and her sister Hannah, all at their family home in Bushey, Hertfordshire, in July last year.

Amy said the minute Clifford left their home on the day of the incident their loved ones "became a statistic".

She added: "They became victims of Kyle Clifford. I want to breathe life back into my mum, Hannah and Louise as fully-rounded people."

And in their emotional interview with the BBC's Victoria Derbyshire, grieving dad and husband John said he speaks to them throughout the day.
