JIM GOODWIN admits there is mental block that is causing his Dundee United players to raise their game in high-profile matches but underperform in others.
The manager made the claim after watching his inconsistent side get dismantled in a 3-0 loss against newly-promoted Falkirk at Tannadice last Saturday.
United have won this season against Aberdeen and in the Dundee derby, while also battling the secure creditable away draws at Rangers, Hearts and Hibs.
However, the Tangerines are making a habit of coming unstuck against opponents they would be expected to take all three points from.
