Denise showed up, did you bother to ask the dogs if they minded her taking away their tasty dried sprats and their joint-friendly chews

CAN you believe another family have agreed to let Denise van Outen into their house while they’re out, allowing her to swap all their big-brand products for budget store equivalents? Yes, you can, because it’s a Tuesday, which means it’s time for another episode of THE BIG POUND SHOP SWAP (C4, 8pm).

This is the show, remember, where each week an ordinary family tries to get by for seven whole days using products far cheaper than they’re used to.

And the prize if they succeed? Nothing at all. I mean, let’s be honest, it’s hardly going to push them to breaking point, is it? I do have a couple of questions, however, that I'd like to ask this week’s couple, James and Kimberley, who live in Stourbridge with their two boys and their lovely dogs.
