O'Neill handover meeting ended after just 15mins
MARTIN O'NEILL has revealed he had a handover meeting lasting barely 15 minutes in which he said “very, very little” when Wilfried Nancy arrived to replace him in the Celtic hotseat a fortnight ago.
The Frenchman (right), who told O'Neill he had “his own philosophy”, lost Sunday's Premier Sports Cup final to extend the worst start of any Celts boss in the club's history, having opened his tenure with defeats to Hearts, Roma and St Mirren on Sunday.
O'Neill also revealed he would have stayed on longer if the Parkhead hierarchy had asked him to.
