EDINBURGH back-rower Ben Muncaster reckons the team’s win at Munster last month has convinced them they are good enough to win the United Rugby Championship.
The capital club are gearing up for a tricky match on Saturday away to Benetton, where their play-off hopes were dashed last season after they went down to a 31-6 defeat.
But they have already beaten Benetton this season, winning 50-33 at the Hive in November.
And Scotland international Muncaster reckons their 34-28 win against Munster in Ireland on February 28 proves the Gunners have toughened up mentally, especially when it comes to games on their travels.
The 23-year-old said: “Coming off the back of a win against Munster away really gives us a lot of belief and that we are fully capable of winning the whole competition.
