'She takes far too many risks

When it comes to cracking crime, Kerry Godliman's fun, foodie sleuth has definitely come out of her shell
-
There’s danger from the off too, as Pearl goes chasing her suspect through the woods as she closes in on solving her another mystery.
“She nearly gets clobbered with a spade,” says Kerry. “She's always putting herself in danger. She's running around, taking far too many risks, and being very brave.”
Tailing her targets is a big part of Pearl's job as a private investigator, but her pale blue 1987 Citroën is a tad too conspicuous for Pearl to go incognito. “I love that car,” says Kerry. “It’s a nightmare to drive because it is a tin can on wheels, but it's iconic now so we're stuck with it.”
