Anna Gristina says she was forced into guilty plea in US
A SCOTS former madam who claimed she was asked to provide women for Jeffrey Epstein has lost a court battle in a bid to overturn her conviction for promoting prostitution.
Anna Gristina, 57, launched an appeal claiming she was forced into a guilty plea.
Prosecutors had alleged that Gristina, originally of Kirkliston, West Lothian, made £6million from running a vice ring for affluent and influential men in New York’s plush Upper East Side.
The mother-of-four admitted a single charge of promoting prostitution and was sentenced to five years’ probation and time already served.
