Scots justice services need £400m to avoid cuts

AN extra £400million needs to be found for justice services in Scotland next year, ministers have been told.

The warning was also given that, without the additional cash, “unacceptable” cuts would have to be made.

The SNP’s Audrey Nicoll, convener of Holyrood’s Criminal Justice Committee, described the situation as “gravely concerning”.
