Russia defies Trump with fresh strikes

A KEY bridge is hit by Russian guided bombs in the Ukrainian frontline city of Kherson as Vladimir Putin defies ceasefire demands from Donald Trump.
Residents were evacuated from the Korabei district of the city served by the vital road crossing over the Dnipro River.
It came a day after two people were killed in Russian shelling of Kherson. Ukraine hit back with a major strike on a military-linked oil depot in Sochi, Russia's main resort city where Putin is rebuilding one of his palaces.
Some 30 huge explosions led to an inferno at the facility close to the main airport often used by the Russian dictator.
Debris
Over 120 firefighters fought to extinguish the blaze, sparked as debris from a downed drone hit a fuel tank, Krasnodar regional governor Veniamin Kondratyev said yesterday.
