Rose helped by Scheffler after Augusta agony

JUSTIN ROSE can relate to Scottie Scheffler's pragmatic approach to golf after his agonising near miss at The Masters this year.
World No.1 Scheffler described his job this week as an often “unsatisfying venture” and that he asked himself, “What's the point?’
Rose has been on a downer since his Augusta playoff defeat by Rory Mcllroy in April - his fifth runner-up finish at a Major since his 2013 US Open triumph.
Scheffler's words have helped him put it into perspective.
Rose, below, said: "It was a cool take to hear what Scottie was saying. Golf obviously is what he loves to do, but doesn't define him. It's a good perspective to not make it be everything.
