RED cabbage has become a mainstay of the festive feast, a supermarket said, as it revealed sales around Christmas surge.
Dish has long been a favourite for Europeans
Tesco said demand in the Yuletide week in 2024 was up by 150% on the previous year, and purchases are already ramping up this December.
Lincolnshire-based brassica grower TH Clements has increased planting volume by 20% this year to help meet the need.
