DURING the making of her Channel 4 consumer series WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL: BRITAIN'S BEST BUYS?, which I'm sorry to have to tell you finishes tonight (8pm), Natalie Cassidy found herself a “lifesaver”.

By that, she didn’t mean a bloke in skimpy Speedos, ready to dive in and rescue her whenever she fell into a river, canal, reservoir or suchlike; I don’t think she’ll be testing those until series two.
No, the lifesaver Natalie discovered was a kitchen gadget.
It impressed her so much that, within minutes of trying it out for the programme, she went online and ordered one for herself. And what do you reckon it was? I'll give you three guesses.
