Dessers to pocket £30k weekly wage in bumper £5m Athens transfer

RANGERS striker Cyriel Dessers has agreed a £30,000-a-week deal with AEK Athens.

The Greek giants have made the 30-year-old, right, their No.1 target after watching him blast 51 goals in two years in Scotland.

AEK were taken over by shipping magnate Marios Iliopoulos last year and the new owner is ready to push out the boat to land the Nigeria cap.

Sources in the Greek capital state Dessers is keen on the move. He has verbally agreed a bumper deal that will see him earn around £1.5million a year. All that is to be finalised now is a fee with Gers.
