MPs: Re-open probe into Al Fayed

MPs have urged Police Scotland to reopen an investigation into former Harrods boss Mohamed Al Fayed amid allegations he raped a woman on his Highland estate.
More than 400 allegations of sexual misconduct have been made against Al Fayed - who died in 2023 - dating back to 1977.
But Police Scotland closed the investigation into an allegation of rape at Balnagown Castle, around 25 miles north of Inverness, saying it could be reopened if new information came to light.
