Duchess urged to show compassion to him after he has his leg amputated
THOMAS Markle, the estranged father of the Duchess of Sussex, has had his left leg amputated in a lifesaving operation.
And his son Thomas Jnr has appealed to his half-sister Meghan to “show compassion” after she broke off contact with her dad in a row around her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.
Thomas Snr, 81, underwent a three-hour emergency procedure to remove the leg below the knee after falling ill at his home in the Philippines on Tuesday.
Thomas Jnr said: “I was told it was a case of life or death.”
