DAME Mary Berry says caring for her husband after he suffered broken ribs in a fall has deepened their bond and brought them closer.
The former Bake Off judge has been married to Paul Hunnings, 93, for nearly 60 years.
She explained: "He's just had a tumble with broken ribs. But he's getting better day by day. Soon we'll have him back to his own old self."
