Marine to take over as Royal Navy chief

GENERAL Sir Gwyn Jenkins was yesterday named as the new head of the Royal Navy following the earlier than expected departure of his predecessor.
Royal Marine Sir Gwyn replaces Admiral Sir Benjamin Key as First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff.
Sir Benjamin has stepped back amid claims of an alleged affair with a subordinate.
