Man, 76, is found guilty of stalking

A PENSIONER businessman who bombarded a woman with unwanted messages after a first date has been found guilty of stalking.
Michael Paton — who owns a string of car body repair shops — suggested they fly to his villa in Spain and that he take her shopping for a Rolls-Royce.
The 76-year-old also offered to take wine store worker Muriel Guthrie to Australia but refused to listen when she asked him to stop contacting her.
Paton — who was managing director of Elder & Paton — was fined £800 and ordered to stay away from his victim for three years.
