Madeleine suspect out of jail and straight to McDonald's

MADELEINE McCann suspect Christian Brueckner enjoys his first meal as a free man yesterday after his release from jail.
The 48-year-old German was snapped at a McDonald’s restaurant near Hamburg, where he tucked into a takeaway of burger, chicken nuggets and a hot drink.
Wearing sunglasses, light trousers and a lilac shirt, he smoked a cigarette before the meal.
Probation
The convicted sex offender was released from a high security prison yesterday morning, having spent seven-and-a-half years locked up for the rape of an elderly American woman.
Police cordoned off the street outside Sehnde Prison, near Hanover, as Brueckner was whisked away in the back seat of his lawyer’s black Audi, with his face covered under a bag.
