MacIntyre and Steven steal show in Dingwall for on-form Arbroath

At 1-1, there looked like there was only one winner as the resurgent Staggies attacked from all angles.

County, under newly-appointed Tony Docherty, hit the woodwork, had two goals disallowed and forced a superb save from Lichties keeper Aidan McAdams.

But the visitors claimed their first Dingwall victory since 2001 with an Aaron Muirhead penalty moving them level on points with Raith and St Johnstone at the top of the table.

‘And co-manager Gold reckons the introduction of loanees Taylor Steven and Jacob MacIntyre turned the tide for his side.

The latter - cousin of Scots golfing sensation Robert MacIntyre - won the crucial spot-kick when he was hauled down by Declan Gallagher.
