ANYONE in the West rooting for Ukraine in its efforts to fend off Russian aggression was either stewing in indignation or slumped over in mild depression following Donald Trump's latest meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky.
Afterwards, Mr Zelensky seemed to be biting his tongue as Mr Trump waxed euphoric about his great relationship with war criminal Vladimir Putin, whom the US president characterised as magnanimous and earnest in his quest for peace.
