GRANT SCOTT has urged the Hibs faithful to get behind his side as they prepare for a glamour tie against Inter Milan.
The Leith outfit take on the Italians in the first qualifying round of the new Europa Cup after Kathleen McGovern's hat-trick sank Cypriots Apollon Limassol 3-2 on Saturday.
The first round will be in Italy before the return at Easter Road and boss Scott said: “I couldn't be prouder of the players to have put us into this position.
“There is so much positivity around the club as a whole. The home leg is going to be played at Easter Road and this group deserves to be playing that game in front of a good crowd. They are a fantastic group who give it everything every time”
Leanne Ross’ Glasgow City have been paired with Irish side Athlone Town in the tournament.
On the domestic front, Celtic maintained their perfect start to the SWPL season with a 7-0 pasting of Partick Thistle.
